This is a Uinta Knife Company Explorer, a compact fixed blade with roughly a 2.7 inch blade and G10 scales. Uinta builds in Utah, and the Explorer is their small everyday fixed blade rather than a woods knife.
Under three inches of blade on a fixed blade is a specific choice. There is no pivot, no lock, and nothing to fail, and at this size it carries without a belt sheath dominating your waistline. For box cutting, food prep at a desk, or a pack knife you forget about until you need it, a small fixed blade beats a folder on simplicity every time.
This one came in like new, so it has not seen meaningful use.
