This one is listed in The Back Door. It has never been cut with or carried, and the original micarta scales have been swapped for custom blue flame maple by an independent maker. Look the photos over before buying.

The White River Ursus Cub is the compact, EDC-sized sibling to White River's Ursus 45, built in Coopersville, Michigan. It runs a 3.5 inch CPM-MagnaCut drop point, stonewashed, with a high flat grind and a squared spine for striking a ferro rod. This one has been rehafted with figured blue flame maple over turquoise pins and comes with its Kydex sheath.

The rehaft

White River ships the Ursus Cub on micarta. This one has been rebuilt with figured blue flame maple by an independent maker, so it is a one-off. The wood and turquoise pins give it a custom look on a proven production platform.

MagnaCut and the grind

The Ursus Cub is a bushcraft slicer. MagnaCut holds an edge and shrugs off moisture, the high flat grind bites into wood and food, and the squared spine throws sparks off a ferro rod.

Made in Michigan

White River builds in Coopersville, Michigan, and the Ursus series has a strong reputation among people who use fixed blades outdoors. A USA-made MagnaCut platform with a custom American rehaft is right in our wheelhouse.

Why this one stands out

An unused White River Ursus Cub wearing a one-off blue flame maple handle. Proven steel and grind, custom looks.
