Specifications

  • Brand: Ti2 Design
  • Model: TechLiner Grid
  • Edition: Galaga LE
  • Material: Titanium
  • Finish: Tumbled
  • Refill: Pilot G2 compatible
  • Cap: Pull off, magnetically retained at tip and tail, posts

The Cap and the Refill

The cap pulls off and holds magnetically at both ends, so it snaps onto the tail and posts while you write rather than going in a pocket to get lost.

It takes a Pilot G2 refill, which is the spec that matters most on a pen at this price. G2 cartridges are at every drugstore for a couple of dollars, so you are never hunting a proprietary refill or paying a premium for one.

Titanium

Titanium is the light one. It does not corrode, it does not patina, and it stays essentially the way you bought it however long you carry it.

Brass and copper are heavier and they change on you, which some people want. This does not change.

Tumbled

Tumbling runs the part through media until the surface evens out into a uniform matte. It is not a coating, so there is nothing on it to wear through, and the finish you get is the metal itself.

Against the Grid pattern it keeps the whole body reading as one surface rather than letting the milling fight the finish.

Galaga

A limited edition from Ti2. These run in small numbers and do not repeat, so if the edition is the reason you want it, this is the window.

About Ti2 Design

Ti2 Design works out of Honolulu, Hawaii, and it is the oldest of the companies Mike Bond runs. The TechLiner started life as a Kickstarter.

We met Mike at the California Custom Knife Show in the fall of 2026 and brought these back directly.
