The Mini MC is Townsend Knife Co.'s compact fixed blade, hand made by Jim in his Montana shop. This one wears Granite GripX scales and a CPM 10V blade, so it is a small knife built around a steel that most makers will not touch.

The blade is 2.75 inches of CPM 10V hardened to 65 HRC, a high vanadium tool steel known for holding an edge on abrasive materials far longer than most. It is not stainless, so it will patina over time and rewards a wipe down after use. The blade stock is a slim 0.13 inches, which keeps the knife light and makes it a clean slicer. The Granite GripX handle gives a grippy, textured surface that holds up wet or dry.

At 5.75 inches overall, the Mini MC carries small and disappears on the belt or in a pocket. It ships in an in-house leather taco style sheath with a deep carry clip, so it is ready to ride the day it arrives.
