The ATOM
TRM launched the ATOM in 2019 and it became the shop's flagship almost immediately. Owners settled on the phrase folding scalpel, and the numbers explain why: 3.5 inches of blade ground full flat on 0.090 inch stock, and three ounces on the scale.
TRM is clear that this is not a hard use knife. It is the one you reach for all day for everything that is actually cutting.
Electric Blue Camo Carbon
Camo Carbon is an American made carbon fiber composite built by stacking colored layers into the weave. The pattern does not exist until TRM mills the scale into a 3D contour, because the cutter steps down through the layers and exposes them as topographic lines.
Electric Blue runs bright blue against black, which is the cleanest read in the Camo Carbon line. The contour lines stay legible instead of fighting each other for attention.
Quick Change Scales
Two screws a side and the scales come off, no pivot work. TRM offers over thirty scale options for the ATOM in carbon fiber, Fat Carbon, Camo Carbon, micarta, G10, G11, and Tek-Wood, so the knife you buy is not the only knife you own.
