Note from Lone Star Knife & Supply: Two of these came in. High visibility orange on a fixed blade is practical. On a folder it mostly means you find it in the bottom of a bag, which is still worth something.

What Camo Carbon Is

Camo Carbon starts as aerospace grade carbon fiber, pressed into a solid block under high heat and vacuum. That is why it comes out structural rather than decorative, and it is made in the USA.

The pattern runs all the way through the block. Nothing is printed on the surface, so what you see is whatever the milling exposed as it cut down through the layers. It cannot wear off, and no two sets come out the same. On a 3D contoured scale, where the cutter works at changing depths across the whole handle, that is at its most obvious.

River-LOK

The River-LOK is an axis style crossbar lock. You close it with either hand without putting a finger in the blade path, and it locks up solid. On the Rev B the lockbar caps are titanium, and the caged ceramic bearings make the deployment noticeably smoother than the original BULLDOG.

Why You Will Want It

Among TRM folders the BULLDOG is the one built for cutting work the ATOM and NEUTRON were not designed around. Thicker stock, a crossbar lock, and a fuller grip. Neon Orange is the one you will not set down and lose.
