This is one of the NEUTRON 2 configurations TRM brought to Blade Show West in Salt Lake City. It is not a show exclusive, it is one of the versions people hunt for, and we brought one back.

Toxic Storm Fat Carbon
Fat Carbon is a resin infused carbon composite, denser and more rigid than standard carbon fiber, and the colored layers run all the way through the block rather than sitting on a surface. Toxic Storm pulls acid green and yellow through black, and the 3D contour cuts down through those layers to expose them as flowing bands.
Every scale is cut from a different part of the block, so the figure is specific to this knife.
TRM machines and assembles the knife in Massachusetts using American materials and suppliers. Fat Carbon itself is made in Lithuania, which TRM states openly, and it is the one part of this knife that is not American.
MagnaCut at Three Inches
MagnaCut gives you edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance without giving up any of the three. On 0.090 inch stock with a full flat grind, there is very little steel behind the edge, which is the whole reason this knife cuts the way it does.
TRM runs it at 60 to 61 HRC, which is where MagnaCut does its best work.
Pocketed Titanium Liners
The liners are 6AL/4V titanium, pocketed to take weight out without giving up rigidity. They carry the knife structurally, so the scales come off with a couple of screws and no pivot work, and TRM sells a long list of replacements for this frame.

Three Rivers Mfg is a family run shop in Three Rivers, Massachusetts, started by the Halperns and grown out of Halpern Titanium. Every knife is designed, machined, and assembled in house, USA is etched on every blade, and all of it is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
