The Koschei Platform
The Koschei was Heretic's first crossbar lock knife, built on a fully modular platform with interchangeable scales and a reversible pocket clip. The 3.5 inch drop point is a practical everyday blade shape, and the knife is set up to run the same for left and right handed carry.
Bronze and Blizzardworn
The bronze blade and bronze hardware sit against the frosted, worn look of the Blizzardworn aluminum chassis. It is the first time the Koschei has come in this pairing, so it reads differently from the black and gray builds that make up most collections.
MagnaCut Blade
The blade is CPM MagnaCut, the steel Heretic uses across most of its current lineup. It holds an edge and resists corrosion well, and it stands up to regular carry and cutting. The bronze finish sits over the top of it.
Crossbar Lock and Carry
The ambidextrous crossbar lock works from either side and pairs with a thumb hole opener for one-handed deployment. A reversible pocket clip sets up tip-up carry on either side. With a 3.5 inch blade in a light aluminum frame, it carries easily day to day, and it suits someone who wants a modern crossbar lock EDC with a finish that sits apart from the usual.
Made in the USA
Heretic Knives builds the Koschei in Sebastian, Florida. American shops turning out machining and finishes at this level is a big part of why we carry what we do, and supporting the companies doing it is how we get more of it.
Why This One Stands Out
Quantities are limited. This is the Koschei crossbar lock platform in a bronze and Blizzardworn combination Heretic has not offered before, made in the USA.
