Heretic Knives – Precision with an Edge

Heretic Knives blends bold design with meticulous craftsmanship, producing knives that push the boundaries of function and form. Every piece is built in small batches with an obsessive attention to detail.

History

Founded in 2015 by Tony Marfione Jr., son of Microtech founder Tony Marfione, Heretic Knives was born out of a deep legacy in American knife making. Located in Florida, Heretic quickly carved its own path with a strong focus on innovation, quality control, and eye-catching aesthetics. While the family connection is clear, Heretic isn’t a clone—it’s a statement.

What sets Heretic apart is their commitment to doing things in-house. From machining to assembly, each step is controlled under one roof. This approach allows them to experiment with materials, finishes, and mechanisms in a way that few knife makers can replicate.

What They Offer

  • Manticore Series: A line of sleek, dependable OTFs offered in a variety of sizes and finishes.
  • Cleric II: A long, aggressive OTF designed for maximum reach and impact.
  • Medusa & Wraith: Folding knives with striking visual appeal and Heretic’s signature mechanical precision.
  • Limited Editions: Small-batch drops featuring exotic materials, Damascus blades, and hand-anodized accents.

Each Heretic knife balances toughness with refinement, making them as capable in the field as they are in your EDC rotation.

If you’re looking for an American-made knife with head-turning style, tight tolerances, and a bit of attitude, Heretic Knives fits the bill.
