The Proof Run Clip

These came out of the NYX V2 proof run and they carry an engraved machined clip rather than the standard one.

A machined clip starts as a solid billet instead of bent sheet, which is why it holds its tension over years of pocket carry instead of relaxing. The engraving is what marks it as proof run, and it is not something later production carries.

Double Action OTF

Push the thumb slide forward and the blade fires. Pull it back and the blade retracts. Both directions run off the same mechanism, so there is nothing to find with your other hand.

At 3.6 ounces with a 3.62 inch blade, the NYX is a full size OTF that does not carry like one.

Why the Tanto

The tanto puts a second edge at the front at an angle to the main one, leaving a lot of steel behind the point. On an OTF, where the blade fires into whatever happens to be in front of it, that is the geometry you want if you care about the tip.
