The Scribe is a limited run collaboration between Heretic Knives and Maverick Customs. The body is fully milled aluminum, the top carries Maverick's G10 flipper mechanism, and the pocket clip is machined titanium by Heretic. This one is green with black splatter.

The Flipper Is the Point

This is not a pen with a clicker. Maverick's mechanism sits on top and flips like a knife detent, which is the entire reason the thing exists. It is a pen you will open and close at your desk without noticing you are doing it.

The flipper tab is G10, so it has texture to it rather than being a slick piece of metal.

Green with Black Splatter

This is the loud one. Green body with black thrown over it, the inverse of the black version. If you want the Scribe to be noticed on a desk, this is the finish that does it. Splatter is applied by hand, so the pattern on this one is specific to this one.

Two Shops, One Object

Maverick Customs brought the flipper mechanism and the finish work. Heretic brought the machining standards and the titanium clip. Neither company makes pens as its main business, which is usually how the interesting ones happen.

A Short Run

Heretic described this as a very limited, short run project. We have two of this finish. There is no reorder on a collaboration like this one.
