The serrated dagger and the skull that holds it, in one order.

In This Bundle

Nothing here is marked down. You pay what each piece costs on its own page and both ship together in one order.

Why These Go Together

A dagger is an awkward thing to own. Lay it in a drawer and you never look at it. Lay it flat on a shelf and you see one side of a knife that was designed to be symmetrical.

The skull stands it up. You get the profile, the grind, and the serrations all at once, and the knife stops being something you have and starts being something you see.

The Serrated Version

This is the fully serrated Nephilim, which is a different knife from the plain edge even though the blade is the same shape.

Serrations are for anything fibrous. Rope, webbing, strapping, cord. The teeth concentrate force on a few points instead of spreading it along a flat edge, so they bite into material that a plain edge wants to slide across. They also stay useful longer as they wear, because the points do the work and they are the last part to go.

The trade is sharpening. A serrated edge wants a round rod and some patience, not a flat stone. If you want a knife to touch up on a strop, take the plain edge. If you want the one that gets through a line under tension, take this.

The Mini Nephilim

Four inches of MagnaCut in a true dagger profile, ground on both sides, with carbon fiber scales and a JRE leather sheath. MagnaCut is the steel that does not make you choose between edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, and Heretic grinds it in house in Melbourne, Florida.

Bone White

There are two skulls and this is the light one. Against a stonewash blade and dark carbon fiber scales, bone white separates the stand from the knife instead of letting both go dark. Every suture line and tooth reads on it.

The black version exists if you would rather the stand disappear and the knife be the only thing you see.

They Could Not Help Themselves

Open the jaw. It catches dice.

Nobody asked for that, and nothing about a knife stand requires it. That is Heretic in one small detail. They do not ship the minimum version of anything.

Printed in the Same Shop

Heretic prints the skulls in PLA+ at the same Melbourne facility the knives come out of. They run in small batches alongside production, so they come and go.
